Experience report SR30 YACHTLINE -: Croatia

The voyage starts on July 31, 2019 with destination Lopar, Rab Island, Croatia

Overnight stay in a caravan park near Gabersdorf in Austria, very good operator and highly recommended.

Transfer by ferry to the island of Rab.

We arrived at the small marina in Lopar, the former campsite San Marino with Paradis beach.

Before we started our three week trip, we spent the first 4 days on day trips around the island of Rab. Our kids absolutely loved it. You can go to Cres island in Kriza bay. From time to time we were accompanied by a family of dolphins, it was so beautiful! In the evenings we could see fallow deer coming ashore, which was a completely different experience.

You can continue to Silba island. In the evening we went ashore by boat and visited Silba of the same name. The 30-minute walk went through a forest. Time stood still here and it is really worth a visit.

We spent the next two days visiting the saltwater lake on the island of Dugi Otok in the Telascica National Park. The road was also very long as we were far behind. Fortunately, a golf cart took us along, much to the delight of the children.
